Equal parts builder, teacher and the guy who ends up running things. A childhood fascination with what computers could make has turned into thirty-five years of making it.

User experience since before it had the name. Information architecture, research, wireframes, prototypes, design systems. I have designed for banks, museums, real estate platforms and smart municipal water systems.
On the web since 1993. APIs and schemas, Node and PHP, React and Next, queues and telemetry pipelines, cloud on all big providers. I still like the back end best, and I still read every line.
Ten years of teaching tech at Centennial College, teaching web design and development to people with day jobs. The best way to learn whether you understand something.
Department head, VP Digital, team lead. Trust, mentorship, honest process. I have worked with over 140 companies and brands, mostly from the inside of an agency.
Past President, Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie, 2025/2026. 7070 Assistant District Governor 2014-2017. Technology Chair for the 2018 RI Convention in Toronto. Service above self, and a good excuse to meet everyone in town.
Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, on the river between two Great Lakes. By day I am the IT Specialist at Soo Mill, which keeps me close to how a business actually runs, which is where the useful problems are.
Husband, father, and grandfather. The people who put up with the late nights and the side projects, and who tell me when something is not as good as I think it is.
Sailing when the lake allows it. Singing in a barbershop chorus, which is where Track Tutor came from. Active in community theatre, another good excuse to meet everyone in town.

Track Tutor and Algoma Live have their own terms on their own sites.
Old colleague, fellow Rotarian, singer or someone with a problem worth solving: I would love to hear from you.
The record, for anyone who wants it. Three pieces of work I am still proud of, and the list of everyone I have built something for since 1993. Most of it was from inside an agency, which is why the brands outnumber the employers.
